At #COP16, UNICEF and the Kuwait Fund for Economic Development signed a US$1.5 million agreement to sustain life-saving primary healthcare services in #Yemen. This funding will ensure 290 health centers remain operational, providing medicines, vaccines, and essential services to millions of children and families in urgent need.

🤝 UNICEF and KSrelief have signed a $4M agreement to support families and children in Gaza. The projects will provide clean water, hygiene kits, and essential health care to over 250,000 people, including 30,000 children under 5 and 30,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women. #ForEveryChild

Honored to have participated in the UNICEF International Council Annual Symposium in Geneva, where the theme of this year’s Symposium was ‘For Every Child: A Future’. This gathering of my fellow Council members and UNICEF leadership was a testament to our collective commitment to advancing child rights. The discussions and sessions were a powerful reminder of the critical work we are doing to support children worldwide. The sessions on humanitarian emergencies and the use of philanthropic capital to drive change were especially impactful, and I had the opportunity to highlight the situation in my country. The Symposium also provided a platform to discuss UNICEF’s vision for the future and the role of the private sector in facilitating this vision. The breakout discussions and workshops highlighted the importance of collective action and innovative solutions.
