I think I watched this movie around 10-15 years ago. It is full-color, and from the perspective of picture quality and special effects, it may be made from the 2000s. Although this is a B-movie, there are not too much bloody scenes. I remember there were scenes of aliens dying.

  1. It's an alien invasion-themed film.
  2. There's a scene where an alien appears in a movie theater. Due to the darkness, a male supporting character mistakes the alien's tentacles for his girlfriend teasing him.
  3. The alien in the film looks like a water barrel about a meter tall, with a bunch of tentacles on top, and a single red eye at the center of its body.

  • For example, when did you watch this film? Was it in black and white or colour? When do you think it was made? Did it have any notable actors? how did the alien get to Earth? What were the character's names? Was this film aimed at adults (with nudity/sex/gore) or more of a family audience? What happened to the alien at the end of the film? Was the alien intelligent/malevolent/benign?

The question could be improved with more specifics. For example; roughly when was the film released/when did you see it? What was the general style and tone? Were there any actors in it you could name? Anything that can help narrow it down will make finding your answer easer.

Is this Alien Trespass (2009)...?

After crash landing near a desert town, an alien enlists the help of a local waitress to re-capture a monster that escaped from the wreckage of his space ship.

A phallic alien with tentacles and a single red eye attacks people in a movie theatre during a showing of The Blob (1958).

There's a point at around the 1:06:31 mark in the video below where it touches a teenage boy on the shoulder and he initially thinks it's his girlfriend putting her arm around him.
