Blå Station is a family business, established in 1986 and based in the little seaside town of Åhus on the Swedish south-east coast. We make furniture using carefully chosen techniques and materials. The expressions, materials and shapes have evolved from close cooperation between us, the designers and the industry. We are meeting the demands and desires of today with an innovative frame of mind, a child's curiosity -- and a heart that refuses to take the easy way out. Curiosity is our fuel, as we keep searching, not for the already known and established, but for the unexpected. Peace, love and good design!

In 1994, Johan Lindau of Blå Station designed the original Bar.B.Ko restaurant, and in 2022, he was invited to reimagine it once more. Together with architect Helena Nyholm, he transformed the space with Blå Station’s furniture, including replacing his original Gutang chair with his now updated version - Momang chair.
