Catella announces the merger of the front office operations of its subsidiaries Catella Residential Investment Management GmbH, (CRIM) and Catella Real Estate AG, (CREAG) to form Catella Investment Management GmbH (CIM). The merger aims to create a stronger fund investment management platform for enhanced operational efficiency, effective from January 1, 2025. Today Catella released its Interim report for the third quarter of 2024. The European property market is showing signs of cautious recovery and a slight increase of transaction market activity due to improved credit terms and lower interest rates. Macroeconomic conditions are also improving with inflation now under control and lower interest rates. Last week, Catella had the pleasure of hosting the Nordic GRESB Regional Insights 2024 in Stockholm. At Catella, Catella Residential Investment Management (CRIM) reports under the GRESB framework. The event was organized jointly by sustainability consultants EVORA Global and GRESB. It gathered industry leaders and sustainability experts to discuss the intersection of climate risk and fiduciary responsibility in investment decisions. Highlights included the Nordic 2024 GRESB Results presentation and a panel titled "Climate risk is financial risk – What is our fiduciary duty at a 6-degree temperature increase?" led by Philippa Gill from EVORA Global. Kaktus Towers has been awarded Europe's Best Tall Building by an international jury of architects at the CTBUH conference in London. The towers feature rotating levels, offering distinctive views for each apartment and adding a sculptural element to Copenhagen's skyline. The living concept ‘micro-living’ aims to offer a living experience where residents sleep in their apartments and live within the building. Kaktus Towers is part of a larger zoning plan at Kalvebod Brygge, aiming to create an innovative green district while reducing CO2 emissions and increasing well-being in the city. The Towers are designed with a focus on ESG qualities and have applied for DGNB Certification as well as being EU taxonomy compliant.
