This week I received my certificate of participation in the HackHERhealth 2024 Hackathon, and I wanted to take the opportunity to share a little more about what this experience was like for me. This was the first Hackathon I participated in, I didn't know the intensity that awaited me, it was two days of intense work (a real immersion), research, screen creation and prototype in record time for me. 👩💻 Even though I was a little afraid, I dove head first into this challenge, and I can say that it was a much more incredible experience than I could have imagined, we created an innovative and inclusive product, with a beautiful visual identity, user-friendly screens, and all of this in two days. And I was still able to have a lot of fun on this journey, in addition to making connections in the technology area with people from all over the world. Sometimes a career transition (especially in another country) can be very challenging, but I left this Hackathon with the certainty that I made the right decision, that I found myself in something I love doing, with more self-confidence in my work, and even more thirsty to improve myself and learn more and more about the world of UX/UI design. 🤩

Check out the latest interview with the winning team! HerShield - Rodrigo de Diego Porras, Bruno Martens, Andrea Mialdea Molina and Anjali Yadav, and their solution to identify and prevent domestic violence.

🔥 Join us for Day 2 of #HackHerHealth at Biotech Centre, Sahlgrenska Science Park! Big kudos to our hosts Cecilia Edebo and Jamie Smith! 🌟 Yesterday, we immersed ourselves in an inspiring session with Diana Cervantes Madrid, enjoyed an energizing yoga session with Sandra Carrasco, and successfully completed the first deliverable – the project summary.
