This event will tackle some of the most pressing health challenges identified by the World Health Organization and will be held at Alexion, AstraZeneca's Rare Disease's office in Boston Seaport on April 5-6, 2025.
The Sahlgrenska Global Health Hackathon is a global series of weekend innovation hackathons spanning three continents and six countries, each scheduled on different dates. This journey of collaboration and creativity will culminate in the grand finale at the Nordic Life Science Days conference in Gothenburg, Sweden, in October 2025. Each hackathon brings together diverse talent to generate impactful ideas tackling critical global health challenges, driving forward advancements in healthcare. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/emwPB66E
The hackathon is open to participants from a diverse range of backgrounds: clinicians, healthcare providers, administrators, educators, AI and tech professionals, students, researchers in fields like biotechnology and health informatics, as well as experts in data science, health policy, economics, and management. Coding experience isn’t required; this in-person event aims to bring together a wide range of expertise—technical, clinical, and supportive— from a wide range of sectors, all driven by the shared goal of tackling global health challenges.
A representative from the team that comes up with the brightest idea from each hackathon location will be invited to present the idea in the grand finale on October 13, 2025 at the Nordic Life Science Days conference.
