An important goal we have is to support the communities in which we operate. That’s why we encourage our co-workers to use one paid working day per year to support a local charity – an initiative called Social day. ✨💫 Recently, a group of 35 co-workers spent a day at Erikshjälpen Second Hand, a children's rights organisation operating a nonprofit second-hand shop. They contributed to Erikshjälpen’s important work by unpacking, sorting, and organising donations. Fraud through social manipulation is widespread and increasingly sophisticated, making it more important than ever to raise awareness about the tactics scammers use and how to stay safe. Protecting our customers is vital for us, which is why we participate in the Svårlurad! (Scamaware) initiative. Through this campaign, we highlight the risks of fraud and spread important knowledge on how to respond if a scammer contacts you. What to think of to protect yourself: ❗Hang up if the conversation starts to feel uncomfortable, stressful, or strange. Scammers may try to rush a decision/action by making you worried. ❗Never use your bank security device or electronic identification (like BankID) at someone else’s request. ❗Never give out your passwords or security codes to anyone. ❗Always read text messages carefully. Consider whether the content seems reasonable and pay attention to the language used before clicking on links or calling unknown phone numbers. ❗Remember that scammers can manipulate senders and websites to look credible. Last week, we proudly co-hosted the final of Considition 2024 – a global hackathon by Consid. The event brought together 156 teams to tackle the challenge of developing an algorithm that quickly and easily assesses loan applications. 🖥️💥 After an exciting final, the team "Mjölkens vänner" emerged as winners. A big congratulations to Per Odqvist and his 17-year-old daughter, Dawn, who’s currently studying programming in high school. 🏆🌟 We’d like to express our gratitude to all the dedicated participants and, of course, to Consid for making this hackathon a fantastic experience. 🥳 A special thank you to our co-workers Ricardo Durón and Balthazar Lang for their engaging commentary during the live-streamed final – you truly brought the event to life. 👏🙌  #Considition2024 #Hackathon #TechChallenge
