This Valentine's day, we're giving a special gift on behalf of everyone at Qlue - supporting vulnerable children around the world with love and care. This drawing is drawn by a child in the care of SOS Barnbyar whom we've chosen to donate to today. We'd also like to highlight and thank Akelius Foundation for doubling donations to them as well as UNICEF and Rädda Barnen - Save the Children Sweden

Today, our management team at Qlue had a special visit from Tomas Lydahl, a well-known author, speaker and personal coach focused on finding motivation and joy at the workplace.  We discussed with Tomas the topic of stress at work and the impact it has on both well-being and productivity. How can we let go of our own negative thoughts and insecurities? and how should we meet each other when others are not feeling their best?  A perfect way to kickstart 2025, inspiring us to foster a healthier, more supportive work environment. Thank you, Tomas, for the inspiration!

Now that we’ve settled back in after an epic Christmas party (see our previous post), we can finally reflect on the inspirational Qday conference that preceded the party. We usually have a few Qluers speaking at #Qday, but this year we all just sat back and enjoyed the new streamlined format and all the fantastic speakers at #Qday2024. From hopeful and inspiring talks on democratizing data, influence, harnessing generative AI and bringing space tech to earth, to lessons learned in agile development and major tech 'oopsies'. We can now also calculate what week day any date of the year is! Is it a cool party trick if everyone at the party learns it? Another year, another crazy Qday/Qsmas party weekend! This year Qlue AB and QGroup took on Rome 🏛️ We took in the incredible sights, immersed ourselves in the history and culture, got inspired by wonderful speakers at Qday (more on that later), culminating with a legendary Christmas party that we are struggling to write about and adequately describe (ChatGPT was down at the time of this writing). QGroup and Hermes Group really pulled out all the stops and went all in on the theme of ancient Rome. It’s not every day you get to party at Cinecittà studios on the set of HBOs hit series ‘Rome’, complete with gladiator fights, Hasse Brontén hosting as Jupiter, live music, and drinking from clay amphoras with the most incredible group of people around ❤️ Who else gets to see their CEO and co-founders dressed as emperor and generals!? Let’s not forget one of the highlights of the evening when our very own Evelina Andrén won an award for her amazing effort simultaneously supporting two clients without missing a beat. We couldn’t be prouder 🌟 We don’t know what’s planned for next year but we can’t wait!

We recently gathered at the scenic Isaberg Mountain Resort for our annual inspiring kickoff event with the theme “Reaching New Heights”🌄. It was the perfect setting to reflect on our growth and vision as a consulting company. The weekend was packed with activities and sessions that allowed us to dive deeper into hot topics: We started with Accessibility 🌐 guided by the amazing Linda us as we explored how we can ensure our work is inclusive and accessible, understanding the true impact of making technology available to everyone, and how we as consultants can contribute to kickstarting this work with our clients. Next, we had a hands-on session with Maja, Peter and Yessica who gave us valuable insights into how we present our best selves in interviews, including tips for navigating challenging questions. We are all unique individuals and our approach has to reflect who we are. After the sessions, we took our team spirit outside! A thrilling luge (rodel) ride down the mountain followed by a team scavenger hunt helped us bond, collaborate, and wrap up the weekend with some fun memories. As we move forward, we’re excited to apply these new insights and continue elevating the work we do for our clients.
