😡 "Can someone make that kid shut up?" That’s what he said. In the middle of the meeting. Our founder Maria had back in the days, as an intrapreneur at a big company, traveled to Denmark for an important meeting with some kind of hotshot. 👶 In her job she was juggling major responsibilities — but like so many working parents, she didn’t have anyone to leave her child with that particular day because well, life happens. So, she brought her child along. 🍼 Always the problem-solver, Maria quickly hired a nanny on-site to ensure everything ran smoothly. But life doesn’t always follow the script. At one point, her child’s laughter echoed through the office, leading the hotshot man to make that comment "Can someone make that kid shut up?". 🤷♀️ Maria didn't apologize, because that moment wasn’t about inconvenience really. She saw it as a reflection of her ability to solve problems on the fly, and manage complex situations—whether it was finding a nanny in a foreign country and at the same time keeping her focus during a high-stakes meeting. 💪 It’s this grit that define Maria’s role today at The Scaling School and just one of many examples of all the experience she has and happily shares. 🧠 At The Scaling School, our team understands that entrepreneurship isn’t about 'perfect' plans— it is about planning and creating strategies that allow you to move forward, even when stuff doesn’t go as expected. 🌟 The final Kickstart Program of 2024 has officially started 🌟 This week, we launched the final kickstart program of the year with an exciting first session! Entrepreneurs from different professional backgrounds and with diverse, inspiring stories came together for another fruitful biz hack. The participants shared ideas, tackled challenges, and left the rooms with defined customer segments, priorities and action plans. A great outcome from just one afternoon! Almost a year ago, we had the privilege of hosting a dynamic workshop in Kista that brought together 65 (!) brilliant minds eager to scale their impact and take their ventures to the next level. The energy, the insights, and the collaborations were nothing short of inspiring! Seeing participants leave with actionable plans and a renewed sense of purpose reminded us why we do what we do—helping entrepreneurs turn their visions into sustainable and scalable realities. Looking back, we are so proud of the progress many of our alumni have made since that day.
