⚡ Eneryield, a young company founded in Gothenburg in 2019, has created a solution that can detect power grid faults before they occur. The company has recently gained wide attention and was named one of the best startups in Sweden 2024. – A key feature of IntelliView is its sensorless Explainable AI technology, which provides clear explanations for its predictions. This transparency allows operators to understand the root causes of potential faults, including the type, location, and timing, facilitating informed decision-making, says Johan Rådemar, co-founder and COO at Eneryield.

For centuries, people have sought the simplest, most efficient ways to travel from point A to point B. To attain attractive and sustainable mobility in cities, smarter approaches are needed. Enrouteq has embraced the challenge of modernizing city public transport to make it accessible, efficient, and affordable. – The Global North already has a lot of open data and finances to back investments, but the transformation can be quicker by better use of this already existing open transit data. The Global South has a majority of today’s fleet of the world’s buses, but operations still have a low digitalization rate. Roam, a Swedish-founded company that produces electric vehicles in Nairobi, Kenya, has recently completed a 6,000-kilometer-long journey on an electric, solar-powered motorcycle. During the journey, Roam Air’s drivetrain, portable dual batteries, and solar recharging capabilities were tested in real-world conditions. Saudi Arabia and Germany have recently purchased electric ferries from Swedish boat company Candela. The Candela boats have a unique ‘floating’ look, created through computer-controlled hydrofoils that automatically lift the boat out of the water, making its batteries last longer and travel faster. The eight P-12 ferries purchased for the new NEOM desert megacity in Saudi Arabia are the biggest order of the P-12 ferries in Candela’s history. #Electrification #electricferries #sutainabletravel

As Sweden introduced tougher legislation and requirements on industrial pollution early, many Swedish companies have developed robust solutions that meet today’s challenges.
