Did you know.... According to the World Bank's solar atlas, the electricity yield from solar panels in southern Sweden is comparable to that in Denmark, the Netherlands, and northern Germany (around 1,000–1,100 kWh/kWp) and only marginally lower than in southern Germany. Even along the northern coasts of Sweden, where population density and electricity demand are highest, the yield is on par with the southern parts of the country. You might be thinking—not another post about their Sportshour. But hold up, it’s not what you think! Exactly a month ago, we had our fall kickoff, and it’s not just an excuse to hang out and swap ideas. Our kickoff has a deeper purpose behind it. 😖We kicked off the day with some mingling and a workshop on what we’ve learned this year—reflecting on what we have learned in these 2 years by being an IPP ( independent power producer) and what mistakes we have done, cause we actually love mistakes—they’re part of the learning process! How else would we figure out what not to do next time, right? 🍬Next up, we opened the floor for a Q&A session with the management team, offering full transparency. From light-hearted questions like “When’s the candy buffet coming back?” to serious ones about how the long grid connection affect us and the renewable energy sector. Transparency is key—because when everyone knows the roadmap, we’re all better equipped to reach the goal. We might not all take the same path, but we know where the finish line is. 🧗🏻And last but definitely not least, we took on three hours of physical and mental challenges. It wasn’t about who could run the fastest or lift the heaviest—it was all about teamwork. It’s a reminder that just like in life, if we support each other and play to our strengths (the fastest runs, the strongest lifts, the most patient solves the riddle), the whole team crosses the finish line together. So yeah, it’s not just about working out. It’s about realizing that when a team works together, they win together—no matter what challenges come their way!
