What if there was a carbon-neutral crypto ETF? The wait is over. The SEC just approved 7RCC Global's Spot Bitcoin and Carbon Credit Futures ETF. Vinter, a Kaiko company, administers and calculates the Bitcoin price for the fund. This will be the first publicly traded cross-asset crypto #ETF in the US and broadens the investible universe of products available to investors at a time when #Bitcoin-related ETFs smash records amid soaring demand. Two of Vinter's co-founders, Marco and Jacob, attended the XENIX ETF Awards in April 2024. Nasdaq Stockholm hosted the event, which brought European ETF leaders together to celebrate the Nordic ETF market. Johanna T. Belitz from Valour and Christopher Kock from Virtune, both building crypto ETPs based on Vinter indexes, participated in a panel discussion on indexed investments for crypto assets in the Nordics. Structured products with crypto as an underlying have been a common discussion topic at many asset management conferences, including the ETF Awards. Since US bitcoin ETFs were approved in January of this year, the appetite for crypto ETFs and ETPs has grown.
