Stockholm Furniture Fair Talks 2025 brings together some of the leading voices in the design and architecture industry. Curated in collaboration with Dezeen and Disegno Publications, the programme features prominent names such as Faye Toogood, Ineke Hans, Ini Archibong as well as Snøhetta, Schemata Architects, and Clap Studio. This year’s SFF Talks welcomes industry leaders to discuss the most pressing issues of our time. The setting—PAPER BAR—designed from paper-like materials by the Helsinki-based design studio Fyra (who will also give a keynote on the process behind it), couldn’t be more fitting. It provides the perfect space to reflect on themes such as materials of the future, the “AI-volution,” and the display of design during a time of climate crisis. “In the near future, and for coming generations, we need more thinkers and doers of all kinds. People who are willing to sit down and have the tough conversations, solve problems together in unison, and build something real. And even more so, we need the people who inspire the rest of us, feeding the industry with creative thoughts and injecting that energy into the heart of the business, to stand up and share their voice,” says Daniel Heckscher, director of Stockholm Furniture Fair. Introducing Industry Talks – a platform for exploring the future of the design industry. For 2025, Stockholm Furniture Fair introduces Industry Talks – a seminar programme focusing on today’s most relevant topics in the design industry, with a special emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and circular transformation, bringing together leading experts, innovators, and decision-makers from the design and architecture sector. The programme includes around twenty seminars covering everything from new sustainable solutions, regulatory requirements, and digital product passports to circular economy and procurement, as well as the transformative impact of AI and digital tools on design and production processes. Industry Talks is presented in collaboration with Trä- och Möbelföretagen (the Swedish Federation of Wood and Furniture Industry). The collaboration underscores the importance of the entire industry joining forces to tackle the difficult questions and challenges from different perspectives, but with a shared ambition to make good for the future. Circularity, creativity and material innovation in focus as Fyra, Emma Olbers and All Matters Studio conceive design bars at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2025. Stockholm Furniture Fair continues its commitment to advancing material innovation, creative problem-solving and sustainability in the design industry, as it commissions three unique design bars for the upcoming fair in February 2025. Designed by the Finnish agency Fyra and the Swedish All Matters Studio and Emma Olbers, the bars address pressing topics in design, architecture and construction, offering spaces for dialogue, industry talks, interaction and inspiration. Greenhouse 2025 is redefining ancient crafts and introducing sustainable innovations. “This year’s Greenhouse designers are distinguished by their strong sense of innovation. Many projects explore unexpected material combinations and production methods, resulting in both visually and conceptually surprising pieces. Soft textiles meet hard, industrial materials, and organic materials are combined with technologically advanced elements, ” says Anya Sebton, designer and Greenhouse jury chair. In 2025, we are thrilled to host designers and design students from over 20 different countries, spanning from Scandinavia and Poland to Panama and Nigeria. The exhibitors celebrate sustainability, ancient craftmanship, and cultural expression. Together with the fair, Stockholm Design Week turns Stockholm into the place to be for buyers, architects, designers, journalists, and everyone interested in design, during one week in February. The week gathers design events in a variety of venues across Stockholm, from showrooms, galleries and museums to dinner parties, after-fair meetings, and opening cocktails—and invites everyone to join. Participating in Stockholm Design Week means being part of one of the most inspirational and influential design events in Scandinavia.
