Disappointed at
(1) Lack of direction on where this airport hotel is: PEK has no signage. The address listed TRIP.com website (Terminal 3 A2 Floor) is insufficient, as Terminal 3 has 3 different area (C, D & E). When we landed at T3 E after 9 pm, we did not know we needed to go through both Custom & Immigration, and needed to take a shuttle to T3 C, plus walked from the arrival terminal to the end before finding the hotel entrance. By the time we got into our room, it was 2 hours later!!!
(2) Lake of English language among Front Office staff: Simple check-in communication prompted the staff to use their phones to translate what we were asking.
(3) Lake individual room temparture control: Room was stuffy and warm as a 75-inch plasma TV was on. The only control was to leave the exhaust fan during our stay to keep the room temperature down.
(4) Lake of cleaniness and maintenance in the toilet/shower area: Rain shower pike leaks splashed water everywhere. A toothpick/flosser was found behind the toilet door. Made us wonder the hotel's level of maintenance on their facilities.
IF we had to choose again, this would not be the hotel.
