  • AMEU is proud to support our union members in recognising their children’s academic successes and empowering their future 🏆📚 The Advanced Manufacturing Employees' Union (AMEU) Education Awards Ceremony was held on 30 November, where Book Grants, Book Support, and Book Prizes worth near to $30,000 were disbursed to 45 recipients. We thank our Guest-of-Honour Mr Vikram Nair , Council-of-Advisor for AMEU and Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC, for gracing this joyous occasion with us. In his opening address, Mr Vikram touched on the importance of good education for all before entering the workforce, and how unions have provided support for members’ school-going children for many years. We were also warmly joined by SG Digital Office, who shared with us on how to identify common types of scams and what to do when we encounter them. Our bright participants were quizzed and won some prizes 🎁 Congratulations to all deserving recipients, and we wish you all the best for your future endeavours!

  • Outdoor Escape Adventure at Jewel 💎 Young union members from AMEU, SMEEU and UWEEI teamed up for an awesome escape game where they solved puzzles  🧩 and hunted for clues 💡 all around Jewel Changi Airport. Big shoutout to the top teams! They were also joined by the Executive Secretaries of UWEEI and SMEEU, Brother Patrick Tay and Sister Marilyn Chew, to exchange insights on job concerns and the value of Unions for young workers in Singapore. The chill chit-chat session ended with a discussion on how we could grow a strong and supportive community for fellow young workers. Thanks for joining us!  💙 #EveryYoungWorkerMatters #AMEU #YoungNTUC
