Nice look into one of the tour's popular characters, Steve Lewton. Steve recently won the Indonesia Open in a thrilling 2-hope playoff and Asian Tour Media was there to cover it.

What a thrilling finish to the Black Mountain Championship! Michael Maguire edged out Asian Tour’s number one, John Catlin, in a dramatic two-hole playoff, all in soaking conditions. 🏆 What a way to claim your first tournament victory! At Asian Tour Media, we’re proud to have captured every moment of this epic showdown for our viewers. But none of it would have been possible without our incredible crew, who braved the rain and tackled the unpredictable weather head-on. Their professionalism and dedication ensured everything ran smoothly despite the challenges. It’s not easy working outdoors in the wet, but the team pulled together, showing the commitment that makes us stand out. They are champions in their own way, and we’re beyond proud of their resilience both on and off the course. Now, we’re gearing up for The International Series, Thailand held at the beautiful Thai Country Club, and we’ve got our fingers crossed for sunnier skies! This will be our third of four tournaments in a row and we are producing this week from the hub of NEP SINGAPORE, INDIA & MENA. We can’t wait to bring you more world-class golf coverage and a front-row seat to all the action. 🏌️♂️ Make sure to follow us for behind-the-scenes insights and updates! #AsianTour #BlackMountainChampionship #InternationalSeriesThailand #Golf #Broadcast

Big congratulations to Rattanon Wannasrichan for his stellar wire-to-wire win at the SJM Macao Open! And for the first time in Asian Tour history, we incorporated drone shots into our live coverage. The drone footage captured breathtaking views of the course, adding a fresh and dynamic touch to the broadcast. At Asian Tour Media, we’re proud to be part of this historic moment. It truly brought a whole new perspective to the game—literally! This wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic support from our technical partner, Star Media Production Services. They were instrumental in helping us elevate production to new heights (pun intended!), providing expert drone operations and top-notch technical support. But we’re just getting started. The SJM Macao Open is the first of four back-to-back tournaments we’re producing. Next up, we’re heading to @Black Mountain Golf Club, Hua Hin, for the Black Mountain Championship, followed by The International Series Thailand at Thai Country Club. Even more exciting, both events will be produced remotely from the NEP SINGAPORE, INDIA & MENA hub, continuing our commitment to delivering world-class golf coverage with the latest in broadcasting technology. Looking forward to the next two more weeks for more thrilling golf action! #AsianTour #SJMMacaoOpen #Golf #Broadcast

But it feels so good to be back on the road, working our magic behind the cameras, and sharing the best golf moments with fans all over the world. This week, we’re teaming up with our technical partner, Star Media Production Services. The facs check is done, and it’s all systems go! We can’t wait to get the ball rolling tomorrow! 🏌️♂️ So remember to stay tuned for updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and maybe even a few sneak peeks of the production compound and the course. Huge congratulations to Steve Lewton for winning the Mandiri Indonesia Open at the picturesque PIK course in @Damai Indah Golf, Jakarta. What a rollercoaster it was! We saw at least 6 lead changes and 2 playoff holes, with England's Steve Lewton clinching his first win in 10 years. Talk about drama! At Asian Tour Media, we were there to capture all the action and more with our 4-man camera crew. Big shout-out to the team who pushed through the heat and humidity to bring this thrilling event to our worldwide audience. Our post-production team also did an incredible job, turning around the highlights and having them ready for voicing within just 24 hours. That's what teamwork is all about! Coming up in October, we're heading into a busy stretch with 4 back-to-back tournaments, starting in Macau, followed by two events in Thailand, and wrapping up with another in Indonesia. Preparations are already well underway, and we can't wait to bring you all the action from these exciting Asian Tour tournaments. Stay tuned for more updates! #MandiriIndonesiaOpen #AsianTour #Golf #Broadcast

Dawn of a new era 😍🏌️♂️   It’s time to step up. It’s time to spread our wings.   It’s 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 with the Asian Tour - the Professional Golf Tour of Asia! 📈🔥   #TimeToRise 𝘼𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣 ‘𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙚’   The Asian Tour has launched a bold new global brand campaign today – named Time to Rise.   With the aim of refreshing and strengthening the identity of the Tour, during its unprecedented period of growth, the campaign can now be viewed on the website and app, plus the social media channels.   The core assets are a brilliant hero film, vibrant new graphics and a hashtag, with the campaign being conceptualised and executed by London-based creative marketing agency WePlay, working with the Tour’s communications consultancy partner Juniper Sport.   Said Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner & CEO, Asian Tour: “Simply put, we wanted to capture the energy, excitement and growth surrounding the Asian Tour. So much has happened since our return from the Covid pandemic break - a long-term partnership with PIF/LIV Golf to create The International Series, which has quickly become part of our DNA; new players and rising stars coming to play in Asia; new events and a fast-growing prize purse for our members. With this in mind, we set out to create a campaign to celebrate and promote our brand to new and existing audiences.”   The concept behind Time to Rise was to be bold and confident in terms of positioning and visualisation of the campaign, inviting people to engage with the Tour during what is an extremely exciting phase in its story.   “We feel Time to Rise, with all its related videos and graphics, really captures the unique characteristics of our Tour, events and players,” added Cho.   “We hope everyone is as excited as we are in continuing to pursue our strategic goals to grow our events, attract international players while developing players from our region and engage with more fans and partners. We have big ambitions for the tour and this campaign is an important part of pursuing these goals.”   The campaign will be visible at next week’s Mandiri Indonesia Open – before being rolled out across the rest of the season.
