Our portfolio company M-DAQ Global, which specialises in cross-border foreign exchange (FX) and payment solutions, has been awarded a Capital Markets Services (CMS) licence by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This licence enables M-DAQ to deal in over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives contracts, addressing more complex requirements and longer settlement periods for B2B services.
The CMS license complements M-DAQ's existing Major Payment Institution license Read here: https://lnkd.in/gBZWC7cB -with M-DAQ Global Richard Koh #fintech #payments #financialservices

We were delighted to have been part of the conversation at the Venture into Sustainability panel at the Canada in Asia Conference 2024 in Singapore last week. #ciac2024 Delight Capital invests in Southeast Asia tech companies that accelerate the UN SDGs. From capacity building (SDG 9), to sustainable cities (SDG 11), responsible production (SDG 12) and climate action (SDG 13), we look forward to working together with investors and entrepreneurs to bring about a sustainable tomorrow as well as make money doing good. #purposeXprofit A big thank you for the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, Christine Nakamura and Elisa Chiu for having us.
【 Venture into Sustainability: Part 1 】This week at the Canada in Asia Conference in Singapore, we gathered a full house of investors, government officials, and outstanding startup founders to explore the potential for sustainability through the power of capital and entrepreneurship. 🙌 For the opening session, Anchor Asia (Anchor Taiwan) CEO Elisa Chiu led a panel discussion with 4 dynamic investors: 🚩Mike Maté, Kickstart Ventures 🚩Ernest Xue, Eurazeo 🚩Maisy Ng, Delight Capital Pte Ltd 🚩David Henderson, XPV Water Partners From water, smart cities, agriculture/food to financial inclusion - we had numerous insights on translating UN SDGs into measurable commercial practices, why investing in sustainability is good business, and how long should we allow for startups to turn profitable (💡just as a reference: Uber lost $31b and took 11 years before it made money).💰 This invite-only investor program was made possible with the partnership with Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APFC). Special thanks to Jeff Nankivell, CEO of APFC for gracing us with his presence, Christine Nakamura, VP of APFC, for ongoing support, Laurel Broten, CEO of Invest in Canada | Investir au Canada for the welcome remark, and Sara Wilshaw, Chief Trade Commissioner at Global Affairs Canada, as well as many officials from the region who joined us!
