EEX is launching Japanese #Power Monthly Options for the Tokyo and Kansai markets on February 3, 2025. These are the first average price options contracts on the EEX power derivatives markets, settled against the average JEPX spot prices for the delivery month. Earlier this week, we had a superb day in Singapore with the local trading community. We started off with insightful workshops covering the latest trends and market developments on the #freight and #LNG markets, as well EEX product portfolio expansion and future plans. Thank you Jin Yu Cheong from the Baltic Exchange and Chithrah Eapen from Clarksons for your presentations! The day was rounded up with our annual reception with close to 200 attendees. Last week, our #EEXperts attended the Singapore Shipping Association's annual gala dinner, an event that brings together members of the #maritime community for networking amongst many familiar and new faces. We are proud to support the #freight markets with our bespoke offering and looking forward to meeting you all next year again! #BuildingMarketsTogether

Our EEX Asia team participated in their first CSR initiative in Singapore alongside Food from the Heart, a local charity organization dedicated to feeding those in need. The team went beyond donating food items and took part in packing food packs, making a hands-on impact on the community. We look forward to continuing our support for local initiatives that make a difference in people's lives.

The EEX Asia team had a great trip to Shanghai, where they met colleagues from the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange to discuss recent developments on the #Chinese carbon and #European emissions markets.
