It's never too late to try! At 40+, I left my stable job to start my own business. Now, I'm part of the Technology & Sustainable Impact community (TS2), and I'm grateful to be part of ATx this year! "Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back." – Unknown Did you know that Mother’s Day in the United States originated from the post-Civil War efforts of Ann Reeves Jarvis, a peace activist who founded “Mothers’ Day Work Clubs”? These clubs promoted community welfare and unity. After her passing, her daughter, Anna Jarvis, campaigned to honor her mother and all mothers, leading to the first Mother’s Day celebration on May 10, 1908. President Woodrow Wilson later proclaimed it a national holiday in 1914, emphasizing personal reflection and acts of gratitude towards mothers. As I reflect on my own entrepreneurship journey in this "Mother's Day" season, I resonate deeply with the challenges and rewards of balancing multiple roles as a female. Being an entrepreneur, mother, daughter, caregiver, wife, and modern woman is no easy feat. I am incredibly grateful to have met these amazing women and to support and journey alongside fellow women entrepreneurs. Together, we can build a supportive community and share each other's burdens.
