Yesterday, MangaChat proudly secured 3rd place at the 6th Qualcomm Innovate in Taiwan Challenge (QITC)! 🚀 November has been a whirlwind of challenges and accomplishments for us. Earlier in November, we were honored to be among the top 10 finalists at the  Singularity University's Global Impact Challenge in Silicon Valley. Simultaneously, the QITC finals served as a crucial milestone for validating our innovations. This year's QITC spotlighted advancements in AI PCs and edge computing technology. For the competition, we enhanced our emotional journaling platform by integrating edge computing, transforming AI PCs into home-based gamified CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) tools tailored for children with ADHD. Additionally, our solution includes AI-driven support strategies for caregivers, enabling more effective assistance. We are deeply grateful to the judges for recognizing our work. The QITC journey, accompanied by a six-month incubation program, provided invaluable resources, including technical support from Qualcomm and financial aid for two patent applications. These resources have empowered us to turn our ideas into practical solutions. This recognition fuels our commitment to expanding across Asian markets, driving our mission to use technology to improve emotional well-being for children everywhere. 💡🌏✨ #Qualcomm #Innovation #AI #MentalHealth #EdTech #CBT #QITC #MangaChat #ADHD

  • 🌟 Big News! 🌟 We’re beyond excited to share that MangaChat has been shortlisted as one of the Top 10 finalists for the Singularity + Sync Global Impact Challenge in Digital Wellness! 🎉🌍 The mission of Singularity University (SU) is nothing short of bold: to empower leaders to harness exponential technologies to tackle humanity’s grandest challenges and create positive impact at a global scale. Partnering with Sync, this year’s Global Impact Challenge focuses on Digital Wellness — seeking solutions that leverage technology to foster mental health and well-being in our increasingly digital world. The competition was fierce, with entries from all over the globe, and we are honored to be selected among the top teams. MangaChat is our AI-driven emotional journaling platform designed to help children communicate their emotions through creative storytelling. In a world where children are growing up immersed in technology, we believe it’s critical to ensure that digital tools support their emotional development, rather than detract from it. MangaChat provides a safe, engaging way for children and their families to explore emotions, helping them build resilience and emotional intelligence. We’ve come this far, in large part, due to the traction we gained in Singapore and the invaluable support we received from the Technology for Sustainable Social Impact (TS2) Accelerator at NUS Enterprise. We are so grateful for this opportunity to represent our solution at the Singularity University pitch event this November in California. At MangaChat, our vision is clear: we want to create a world where every child can express their emotions freely, using technology that is built with their mental well-being in mind. We believe that by empowering children today, we are shaping a healthier, more resilient generation tomorrow. We invite our community to support this journey — share this milestone, connect us with like-minded individuals, or simply follow along as we continue to make strides in digital wellness. Let’s work together to make the digital world a place of emotional growth and safety for the next generation! 🙏💡 #DigitalWellness #GlobalImpact #SingularityUniversity #Sync #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #ExponentialTech #TechForGood #MangaChat #MentalHealth #Children #Leadership #Growth

Let’s take a moment to revisit the highlights of MangaChat at the TS2 Demo Day on July 25th! We were honored to participate in the National University of Singapore's Technology for Sustainable Social Impact (TS2) Startup Accelerator program. MangaChat integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with gamification and generative AI, transforming children's words into comics while using AI to support caregivers in providing positive guidance to improving parent-child communication. By employing technology and data-driven methods, we aim to address the global issue of children's mental health. Our COO, Renee Chong, was the keynote speaker on Demo Day, where we received tremendous support and applause! The encouragement and recognition we received for our efforts in supporting children's mental health filled every member of our team with confidence and joy.
