Hi LinkedIn, There's no easy way to break the news, but our ex-co-founder and AI Engineer has left the team to pursue his own startup ambitions and claimed ownership of the AI model behind Jung AI's service offerings, as well as the website. As such, you might have noticed that visiting our website yields a 404 response. It's tough, but Nicholas, Kun Lie Goh is working his hardest to re-build the website and service, so that Jung.ai can continue on its mission to increase access to affordable, quality mental healthcare for all who need it, as soon as possible. Today we are excited to introduce Jung AI: A new paradigm of mental health care that combines the power of AI and the clinical expertise of licensed therapists. More than 1 billion people worldwide are affected by mental health disorders, yet many do not have access to care. In the US, 54.7% of people with mental health disorders cannot afford psychotherapy. That's over 28 million people. The underlying problem is that, traditionally, therapy is delivered on a one-to-one basis, therefore constraining the capacity of therapists. With AI, we are reimagining the role of licensed therapists, from direct service providers to that of supervisors overseeing AI.
