HeHealth Otiz AI Chatbot has performed at a level comparable to sexually transmitted infection (STI) specialists in detecting STIs and providing advice. Interestingly, by the time we completed the study, our model had improved significantly. Everybody is back in the glasses game: Google started this project many years ago but dropped it. Now, they’re picking it up again as the timing seems right. It looks just right :) Meta showed the way with their Meta Ray-Bans, and now Google is following suit. I’ve also heard that NVIDIA is working on their own glasses. It seems like we’re finally at a point where smart glasses might be adopted in significant numbers. It’s unfortunate that Apple appears to be missing the mark in several areas. There’s no robust Apple AI, and their Apple Intelligence initiative was a failure. The Apple Vision Pro also seems to be a massive flop, and it doesn’t look like the timing is right for it either. When you are creative and innovative, technology works magic. What do a chimp, a hippo, a leopard, an elephant, and a cheetah have in common? Not much—except that the Apple Watch works perfectly on all of them to measure their vitals, just like it does for us. Of course, it's clearly not FDA-cleared for use in animals, but if it's better than the next best available technology, why not? In sexual health, there hadn’t been significant innovations for years—until HeHealth disrupted the field by creating groundbreaking use cases with existing technology. Yet, some people couldn’t accept it. My message to the world: if something is significantly better than the current baseline for most people and has a larger impact, don’t crucify the innovators. Instead, open your eyes and see the potential. My takeaway from 2024: Open your eyes, open your heart, and be flexible enough to embrace new things. The world is changing. AI has moved from producing very inaccurate, blurry videos to creating clear, physically accurate videos with smooth and stunning frame-to-frame transitions. For those of us interested in AI’s image and video capabilities, this growth is unbelievable. Most importantly, we’re testing these capabilities in medicine and disease diagnosis. Medicine is a visual language, and one of the biggest challenges has been the lack of data and concerns over patient privacy. Using these advanced techniques, we have the potential to revolutionize medical data handling and visual interpretation in healthcare. 2025 is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting year! 🚀
