Last month, we had the honour of dressing five incredible Asian women who were invited to speak at Manila TEDx Hub. These women, from diverse fields, shared their expertise on technology, innovation, and leadership in the hopes of inspiring the next generation. What united them was a shared passion to speak their truth, empower others, and spark change ✨ Their stories highlighted the power of embracing innovation, driving progress, and leading with purpose. We’re proud to have played a part in supporting these remarkable women on their journey 🌏 #TEDxUPV #AnchoredInTech #Leadership #Inspiration #Empowerment

"When my parents or grandparents ask what I do for a living, I tell them that I carry and change mannequins." For Erna Kuzirah, Visual Merchandising (VM) wasn’t the plan — until she started as a part-time retail ambassador some years ago. Previously, she was told that her VM skills were not up to par but instead of backing off, she persevered and is now part of our Global VM Team, overseeing store layouts, zoning, and assortments across various key markets. #Retail is one of the most dynamic industries and Erna's journey is testament to the power of passion, growth, and dedication ❤️🔥✨ Catch the YouTube episode here: https://bit.ly/3OxH2iO

This year, we kicked off the holiday season with an office festive celebration that was full of laughter, friendly competition, and team spirit! 🎄🎅🏼🎁 It started with a delicious festive luncheon, followed by a best-dressed competition 👗 ❄️ Teams brought their A-game with submissions that showcased a blend of creativity, from imaginative outfits crafted by hand to innovative designs made with digital tools. Throughout the day, the energy was contagious, with team members stepping up in creative ways to make the most of the holiday spirit. We wrapped things up with Christmas pictionary at our last global townhall of the year, which was a perfect mix of reflection, fun, and a little friendly rivalry. Once again, congratulations to our talented winners and wishing everyone a joyful and well-deserved holiday season. Here’s to building on this momentum and achieving even greater success in 2025! 💪 #HolidayCheer #YearEndCelebration #ReadyFor2025

Rounding August up with our very own birthday celebration! 🎂🎉✨ It’s our 14th birthday this year and we lived up to the theme of our brand tagline “Ready-to-live” with an inspiring international panel about embracing fresh beginnings and navigating a season of growth with Esther Chan (Director, HQ Marketing), Catherine Cheng (Retail Area Manager, SG), Elgine Candra Chandra (Strategic Finance Manager, ID), AJ Lelis (Marketing Manager, PH) and Zenith Yuen (Retail Store Manager, HK). Complementing the panel is a candid sharing of birthday wishes from Rachel Lim and Dione Song, our very own birthday song contest with winner Zaki Alamsyah, and a synchronised singing of happy birthday globally across all our teams! It was no doubt a special celebration for all of us at #TeamLB 🥳

As we continue to scale and expand internationally, how do we ensure consistency in service and product knowledge in our retail stores globally? The magic lies in our Train the Trainers programme that is conducted by our Global Retail team here at our Singapore Headquarters! This week, our in-market Retail Trainers Benedicta Maurilla, Daniel Moises °, May Tang, Vera Yip, and Zaki Alamsyah dropped by our sunny shores to learn more about retail best practices from Felicia Ng (Senior Specialist, Retail Training) 🇸🇬 It’s been a fruitful week where the trainers deep dived into Styling 101, customer service as well as assortment training - from fabric to form. They also visited our stores to experience the operational happenings from daily briefings, customer service audits as well as to observe and interact with customers. Beyond retail best practices, our trainers also enjoyed an in-person preview of the upcoming Fall/Winter collection and tried Singaporean delicacies! ✨

The retail industry seems to have gotten itself a bad rep, but is that really the case? 👀 Our #TeamLB colleagues Afifah, Michelle Yap, Razlinda and Shaamini debunk misconceptions and share candidly about personal experiences on worklife balance, job scope and more! 🤰 As part of our mission to celebrate and uplift Asian women, Love, Bonito provides the opportunity for expecting retail staff to shift into a less strenuous administrative role in HQ in their third trimester. We go above and beyond in ensuring our new mums feel well-supported in a retail role. Watch the video here: https://lnkd.in/gwgkXrnf #retail #behindtheseams

HELLO Sunny Singapore 😎 Our 7th store across the island and first in the East at the newly renovated Tampines 1 Mall! We’ve been exploring a new store location to serve our community in the East and finally opened a 3,500 sqft store at 10 Tampines Central 1 #02-08/09 🌴 It was definitely a memorable experience meeting our community in person with an in-store Beach Blitz game, BerryBar sweet treats and exclusive gift with purchases. #Funfact, this is also the only store in Singapore that thoroughly reflects the brand’s new identity! See you around if you’re in the area 🥳

Last month, we celebrated #Inclusivity! Our Bronitos of varying ethnicity, sexual orientation and life seasons participated in a friendly debate around Workplace Inclusivity. We explored topics around the importance of diverse leadership representation, DEI training and disclosure of personal details to drive more catered initiatives and were heartened to see #TeamLB participating enthusiastically in these conversations, both online and offline! 🔥 We also engaged therapists from Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped to provide #TeamLB a good kneading, with a larger goal to expose teams to people with disabilities, and nurture a stronger sense of empathy and appreciation ❤️ Topping off the day with free flow ice cream in traditional bread from Cone Island. The booth was decorated with colourful rainbow flags and in celebration of pride, love and diversity in Love, Bonito! 🌈 #diversity #inclusion
