📆 We've just wrapped up the first French-Singaporean Quantum Symposium (FSQS), but the journey doesn't stop here! Mark your calendars for FSQS 2025, which will be held from 24 to 28 November 2025 in Paris, France. 🇫🇷 🇸🇬 FSQS 2024 in Singapore was a remarkable milestone, bringing together over 170 delegates to explore how France and Singapore can build stronger, strategic partnerships in the field of quantum technologies. Supported by the quantum strategies of our two countries, this event showcased an impressive line of speakers and panelists stemming from academy and industry, emphasizing the importance of our relationship in advancing quantum research and applications. 👊 MajuLab and the Centre for Quantum Technologies have long been at the forefront of Franco-Singaporean research collaborations. The success of FSQS 2024 is a strong evidence of the strength of this relationship, which continues to pave the way for groundbreaking work in the quantum space. Quantonation, the first investment fund dedicated to quantum technologies, has been instrumental in bringing the French-Singaporean link to a new level, connecting the dots between research, industry, and investment. 🤝 The symposium is the result of a unique synergy between MajuLab, the Centre for Quantum Technologies, Quantonation, the National Quantum Office, the Quantum Engineering Programme, the CNRS, CNRS@CREATE and the Embassy of France in Singapore. It was sponsored by Keysight Technologies,  Quantum Machines and OptoSigma. 🗣️ Alexia Auffèves, CNRS Research Director, Director of MajuLab and CQT Visiting Professor, co-organizor of the event, highlighted the significance of the symposium: "This series of symposia is a great opportunity to consolidate the French-Singaporean bond in quantum, and to boost it with an industrial component. In a context where quantum technologies are considered a matter of national sovereignty, holding such an event has a strong meaning and the commitment of both ecosystems to make it a success has been amazing. The deadline for abstract submission to the 2nd Quantum Energy Initiative workshop is extended until the 25th of October. https://lnkd.in/gVS58WnV Contributions can range from very fundamental questions of energy in quantum systems or optimal use of algorithmic resources, to very practical questions of improving a given enabling technology.

After Singapore in 2023, the second QEI workshop will take place in Grenoble, January 2025. Excellent speakers, excellent location, on a topic that keeps gaining momentum.
