We are looking for a Software Developer to join us! Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Developer at Nautisense in the Greater Bengaluru Area. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python. Build and maintain APIs using FastAPI. Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices. Use Bash scripting for simple automation tasks. Work with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB). Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Required Skills 1+ years of experience in software development, primarily with Python. Basic knowledge of FastAPI for API development. Experience with Bash scripting. Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB). Experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest). Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. Basic understanding of software development best practices. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Qualifications and Experience Master’s degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Azure Familiarity with microservices architecture. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React) is a plus. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding of networking and security principles. Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization is a plus. What's in it for you?
