PIL Logistics Egypt is the chosen logistics partner for a major global appliance brand! PIL Logistics Egypt is proud to be the preferred logistics provider for a major Chinese white goods brand, which has recently inaugurated a multi-million dollar state-of-the-art production facility in Egypt! With our parent company PIL already shipping a significant volume of appliances for this customer from China, this new collaboration is an extension of the PIL Group’s existing partnership with them to now include logistics services!   To support the operations of this customer, a dedicated area in our warehouse, which is located in the 10th of Ramadan City in Cairo, has been allocated and our warehouse received the first batch of white goods – 5,000 units of washing machines – coming out of our customer’s production line last month. Our team is also currently working to seamlessly integrate our advanced Warehouse Management System with our customer’s system to enable efficient and automated logistical activities.   In the first quarter of 2025, PIL Logistics Egypt is expected to further empower our customer’s operations with the storage and transportation of refrigerators, air conditioners, and televisions coming out of production. To accommodate our customer’s anticipated growth in the Egyptian market, PIL Logistics Egypt is set to open another warehouse in 2025!   At PIL Logistics, we are committed to “Putting Customers First”. '𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀' 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺 - 𝗣𝗜𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗜𝗟 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 PIL Logistics and PIL have recently joined forces once again on a project cargo shipment from Hanoi, Vietnam to Brisbane, Australia. This time round, our collaboration was expanded to include intermodal services!   On 26 August, our team picked up two mobile houses as out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo from a factory warehouse in Hanoi and loaded them onto 40-foot flat racks. With each mobile house weighing 10 tonnes and measuring 11 metres in length, both the PIL and PIL Logistics teams in Vietnam had to work together very closely to tailor and execute comprehensive logistics services for their safe transportation, which included specialised packaging and secured lashing. The mobile homes were then trucked over 150km to the port city of Haiphong, where they were loaded onto a vessel on 30 August for their onward delivery to Brisbane, scheduled to arrive around the end of this month. Right from receiving the OOG cargo to loading them onto the vessel, it was a collaborative effort between our PIL Logistics colleagues with our PIL counterparts in Hanoi and Haiphong to ensure that every step was meticulously managed. With this successful shipment, we once again demonstrate how PIL is constantly “Pushing Boundaries”– even going beyond container shipping to include intermodal services in the form of trucking – just so we can meet the various needs of our customers! Successful China-Europe block train by PIL Logistics (China) In August, PIL Logistics (China) successfully launched a block train from Chengdu, China, to Małaszewicze, Poland! Carrying 55 containers of accessories for electrical appliances, auto parts and cars, the block train arrived at its destination in eastern Poland after 18 days of travelling from western China. This block train was made possible with PIL Logistics (China) working closely with the railway authority in Chengdu and complemented by the meticulous planning on the loading of cargo. Compared to the traditional method of transporting entirely by sea, our customers benefitted from a significantly faster shipment, as this block train reduced the transit time from Chengdu to Małaszewicze by more than half! Leveraging the New Eurasian Land Bridge, the route for this block train is a well-developed logistics path favoured by companies to efficiently deliver high-quality products from East China to the European market. Besides offering a much shorter transit time and lower costs, this mode of transportation also serves to promote trade between China and Europe. With this block train, we demonstrate how PIL Logistics is continuously “Pushing Boundaries” to offer more diverse and efficient logistics solutions in all our locations to meet the growing demands of our customers! 

PIL Logistics (China) welcomes star farmers and renowned agricultural entrepreneurs from Brazil On 22 August, close to 40 Brazilian star farmers and renowned agricultural entrepreneurs who have won regional competition awards visited PIL Logistics (China). This is part of a delegation visit to China, led by the Brazilian government, to promote the export trade of Brazilian agricultural products and to explore opportunities for supply chain innovation. As key players in trade and supply chain industries, PIL Logistics China, PIL China, and LongRun Group, worked together closely in hosting and ensuring the success of this visit. Based in China, LongRun Group’s business focuses on food and feed nutrition, as well as the development of new crops. At the meeting, Mr. Kent Chen, General Manager of PIL Logistics China, gave an introduction to the company's products, services, network, and relevant value-added services, while Mr. Charles Ye, PIL China’s Head of Commercial, elaborated on the history of PIL and its shipping routes to South America. CEO of LongRun Group Ms. Lin Xuan also shared her insights on the agricultural markets in both Brazil and China and expressed her optimism towards future cooperation between both countries. With the close collaboration between PIL Logistics and PIL, we can enable Brazilian agricultural products to enter the Chinese market swiftly and safely.
