    In this day and age, women play a pivotal role in the society juggling between family, work and personal responsibilities. Often, they take on multiple roles being a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a top leader in the organisation, a coach, a mentor, a good role model and a caring friend yet having to find the balance to practice self-love and self-care. In the month of March, let's celebrate the achievements and contributions of women around the world. It's a month to recognize the progress made towards gender equality and to continue working towards a more inclusive and equitable society for all.     𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 How do we reshape the pervasive challenges that confront us all as leaders? How do we reposition them as opportunities to create organisational strength that can differentiate us in the market place? That is the question that I was reflecting on after a week in Singapore with our wonderful team, meeting CEO's, CPO's, and senior executives of global companies. It was interesting to note that many of the leadership challenges in this amazing "tiger economy" are ubiquitous across many geographies: - Employees reluctant to speak up - The need for more trusting relationships - Greater collaboration across matrix structures - Driving greater customer centricity Creating the insight, understanding and skills to deal with these challenges often requires a transformational shift in a leader's perspective. Restraining one's gravitation to our own perspectives, taking the time to listen deeply, reserving judgement, and keeping one's action orientation at bay, is a learned discipline. Holding yourself in the space of putting your views to one side and being truly curious of other's perspectives, while creating a safe space for others to challenge is an important step. This approach can unlock greater inclusion and diversity of thought, leading to better business outcomes. At the core of this approach is building trust among key stakeholders and team members, demonstrating that: - You are not judgemental, and you truly value others opinions; - You applaud those that challenge the status quo; and, - You demonstrate that you genuinely care about individuals' personal growth and development. This requires leaders to have the self-belief, that while we may often think we have the answers; solutions to optimise business outcomes more often comes from unlocking the amazing potential and perspectives of those around us.
