  • This week we launched our CUSTOMERMANIA week in Africa - a flagship event in our Customer Experience plan that will immerse our leadership in the heart of the customer experience.   For one week, our leaders will be stepping into the shoes of our customers and front-line teams, serving at our retail stations, engaging with B2B customer service, and meeting with key B2B clients.   Our goal is to foster stronger connections and deeper understanding of our customers across all levels of our organization. We're committed to excellence in customer service, and Customermania is a key part of that journey.   Our Head of Africa, Fadi Mitri kicked off this initiative last month, and we're thrilled to expand it across the region.   Stay tuned for more updates and behind-the-scenes insights from Customermania week! #Customermania #CustomerExperience #EnergisingCommunities #PumaEnergy

Approximately 474 tonnes of AC14 A15E CarbonBind® has been used as part of Austek Roads' Helensvale Road Project, upgrading a vital segment of Queensland’s road network.   CarbonBind® is a revolutionary product made from organic, plant-derived materials that partially replaces conventional, oil-refined bitumen. By acting as a carbon sink, CarbonBind® permanently locks away atmospheric CO2 emissions within the pavement structure, all while maintaining high operational efficiency and quality. In total, 196,800 kg of CO2 has been sequestered across Austek Roads' projects within the City of Gold Coast road network.   This upgrade has significantly enhanced the road's performance integrity, while also reducing wear on equipment. Moreover, the project has effectively addressed safety concerns related to fuming and odor, leading to positive feedback from motorists.   Thank you to the team at Austek Roads, for your continued commitment to CarbonBind® and for your dedication to improving our environment without sacrificing quality.   Interested in learning more about CarbonBind®? Transaid’s Professional Driver Training (PDT) programme in Ghana began in 2021 with funding from the Puma Energy Foundation, and aimed to improve road safety by raising training standards for professional drivers. Daniel Fiase is a driver trainer in Ghana who has been driving HGVs for four years. Following a successful grant from the Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Award, Transaid was able to deliver a second refresher 'training of trainers' (ToT) training, allowing Daniel to practice his skills and instructional techniques for a third time under the supervision of a master trainer. Daniel says of Transaid's training: "I learned other things just by doing them, but with Transaid I could understand the consequences and benefits of doing it a certain way, and that is how I want to learn.” Read Daniel's full story here: bit.ly/3Nxud81
