Few experiences in life feel surreal—meeting Mr. Jensen Huang, founder of NVIDIA, was undoubtedly one of them. I’m super ecstatic to announce Blitz Electric's membership into the NVIDIA Inception Program — a monumental milestone in our journey to revolutionise last-mile logistics through cutting-edge AI technology. Three years ago, Blitz created this category of EV Logistics. And today, we continue to lead and dictate its standards. Earlier this year, NVIDIA for Startups and Partnerships Team recognised our disruptive potential and challenged us to integrate NVIDIA’s AI Platform tools into our proprietary logistics tech stack. Led by our CTO Niranjan Kumar, our tech team worked tirelessly to achieve transformative results: 🛵 68% fewer drivers needed per shift 📈 200% increase in driver earnings 🌍 34% reduction in kilometers driven With our existing last-mile tech stack now supercharged by NVIDIA’s AI optimisation tools, we’ve achieved unmatched operational efficiency—offering faster, more reliable services that competitors can’t match, while ensuring every Blitz gig courier stays more productive and earns more than drivers on any other platform. We showcased these innovations recently at the Indonesia AI Day, gaining recognition from industry leaders such as Mr. Vikram Sinha, CEO of Indosat—including an unforgettable meeting with NVIDIA CEO Mr. Jensen Huang. These results showcase how NVIDIA’s advanced AI optimisation for dynamic routing, combined with Blitz’s proprietary delivery batching engines and EV fleet management platform, can redefine logistics efficiency and sustainability. There are about 4 million drivers for ride-hailing apps like Gojek and Grab in Indonesia, but these drivers are steadily getting less income as the years go by 😥 Outside of ride-hailing, many of these drivers are mid and last-mile delivery drivers, and there’s just tons of problems in this logistic playground: inefficiencies, cutthroat price-wars, carbon emissions, etc… Ex-hyperloop employee, Saivya Chauhan 🛵📦 saw this as an opportunity to improve things not just for businesses, but for drivers and the environment as well. He founded Blitz in 2019 to transform the last-mile logistics sector in Indonesia. Blitz’s main business is providing clients a fleet of drivers whom, paired with their advanced internal tech stack and custom EV motorbikes from partner OEMs, do the last-mile delivery for them. The results are staggering: They reduced delivery times by 16%, reduced client’s delivery prices by 42%, increased driver’s income by 33%, and reduced more than 10M kg of CO2! Everyone involved gets a benefit: Companies can provide better and cheaper deliveries, drivers earn more, and less CO2 emissions for the planet! Six years ago in LA, I had the idea for Blitz Electric and started it on a whim, fuelled mainly by lots of naiveté. Last week marked our first company-wide town hall, almost three years since we hired our first employee. This call brought together all 60 of our team members dialling in from India, the USA, and across Indonesia. The atmosphere was electric, everyone sharing not just their day-to-day experiences but their dreams and aspirations for Blitz. Hearing their stories of commitment, seeing their excitement about our growth and future, reminded me profoundly why we do what we do. This isn’t just a job; it’s a shared mission to revolutionise logistics with electric vehicles, driven by a team that cares deeply about the planet and our impact on it. For me it really are moments like these make all the challenges worth it. They remind me why I love this journey so much—despite the ups and downs, the late nights, and the constant hustle. As Blitz continues to expand and take on new challenges, I am more convinced than ever that the heart of this company isn’t in its technology or strategies, but in its people. Their passion is the engine of our success, their resilience our greatest asset. Here’s to the journey ahead— I hope it continues to be as riveting as the town hall that has left me inspired all week. That’s a wrap on our first-ever Founders Retreat! 🎉 A huge thank you to the 50+ founders who joined us in Bali, traveling from all across Southeast and South Asia for this special event.
