👏 A huge congratulations to our European group company Uniomedia for an incredible November 2024 packed with impactful events! From driving vital conversations on energy competitiveness and sustainability with #ExxonMobil, to addressing cybersecurity and regulatory trends with Mastercard and Corvinus University of Budapest, the Uniomedia team had gone above and beyond to showcase the power of collaboration and innovation! We are proud of the team's achievements and are excited to witness all of their future milestones and accomplishments! 🌟 Robert Romai Zsofia BALATONI Katalin Makkai Kaylene Wong Tashan Kassey Kalleichelven Diana Estella Peter
After the challenges of post-Covid years, we’re thrilled to have returned to the vibrant rhythm of organizing in-person events, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful conversations. November has truly reestablished itself as the busiest and most impactful month in our calendar! We were proud to organize two incredible stakeholder events, bringing together thought leaders, industry experts, and key decision-makers: 💡 Energy Beyond Series for ExxonMobil The 7th instalment of the #EnergyBeyond series took place at #ExxonMobil’s Budapest headquarters, coinciding with Hungary’s EU Presidency conclusion. Together with government representatives, industry leaders, and experts, we tackled critical topics like energy competitiveness, policy achievements, and sustainability. 🏛️ Mastercard and Corvinus University Event In collaboration with Mastercard and Corvinus University of Budapest, we organized a pivotal event addressing #cybersecurity and the Payment Services Regulation (#PSR). Esteemed panellists from Magyar Nemzeti Bank, CMS CEE, and Corvinus University of Budapest joined us to debate current trends and the regulatory future, emphasizing the importance of fair, unbiased policymaking for economic and societal progress. These events reaffirm the power of in-person gatherings to spark innovation, foster collaboration, and create lasting impact. We’re energized by the insights shared, the partnerships strengthened, and the exciting path forward. To everyone who participated—thank you for making these events truly remarkable. Here’s to continuing these vital conversations in the years ahead! To our clients, thank you for trusting us with organizing these meaningful events! And to all of our team members who played an important role in organizing these events, a BIG THANK YOU! And we are already looking forward to next year’s events! #AgencyHighlights #EventManagement

Could we change this narrative and make menstrual health a bridge to both gender equality and sustainability? The challenges are multifaceted—stigma, misconceptions, lack of education, and access to resources. At Emer , we believe education is key. It’s a ripple effect—education leads to awareness, which leads to action. Think of it this way: every young girl who learns about menstrual health becomes an advocate for herself and others. Isn’t that a small yet powerful step toward equality? So, let me ask you: how can your organization contribute to breaking these barriers? HR departments are the gatekeepers of culture, values and respect. It starts with small changes: - offering menstrual products, - fostering open dialogue, - introducing flexible work policies What kind of workplace culture do you want to create? One that empowers women or one that stays silent on issues that matter? To businesses, I say this: imagine the loyalty, productivity, and innovation you’d gain from female employees who feel supported and valued. Isn’t that worth the investment? Huge heartfelt to Rothman & Roman Group, Zsofia BALATONI, Diana Estella Peter, Tashan Kassey Kalleichelven, Emmanuelle Mace-Driskill, for this huge opportunity to reach out to medias, leaders and change-makers, together we are stronger.
The Rothman & Roman Group team in Singapore started our work week in a very unique way by joining hands 🤝🏻 with PRCA APAC to host a rather thought-provoking roundtable discussion - “Is Menstruation Still a Taboo at Work?”. 🎀🩸 Together with our speaker, CEO & Founder of Emer – a sustainable menstrual underwear company – Celine Ventalon, and our very own in-house Moderator, Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer of Rothman & Roman Group, Zsofia BALATONI, we facilitated a two-hour session that deep-dived into women’s health, particularly on menstrual health of working women in #Singapore 🇸🇬, the roles that workplaces play in dispelling taboos and fears about menstruation at work, and ways to empower women via sustainable menstrual health products and solutions. 🌱 Other key topics discussed include menstrual health challenges faced by women in Southeast Asia, the impact of menstrual health on gender equality and women’s well-being, menstrual health awareness, menstrual leave etc. 💁🏼♀️ Amidst the lively discussions with the participants, there was also a live demonstration session carried out by Celine Ventalon on Emer ‘s innovative menstrual underwear made with OEKO-TEX certified materials. These products which serve as eco-friendly alternatives to traditional ones, essentially aim for women to feel at ease anywhere and anytime when on their periods. 👙 Our heartfelt appreciation to all the wonderful ladies across various sectors, companies and media organisations - The Straits Times, Tatler Asia, Deloitte, Market for Good, Cushman & Wakefield, Prudential Financial Advisers Singapore, Sales School Singapore, Infinitum Financial Advisory Pte Ltd etc. - who actively participated and contributed to the success of such a pivotal yet unspoken discussion in this day and age! 🙏🏼 Our hope is for such pertinent conversations on menstrual health to continue not only in #Singapore but around the world too 🌏 (despite the controversies and cultural taboos associated with them), and for every single woman to feel bold and empowered even when on their periods! 👸🏼💪🏼 📣 Special shoutout to Singaporean influencers Preeti Nair and Devika Panicker who had shared, on their Instagram accounts, genuine reviews of Emer ‘s products! II love seeing my clients shine, especially when they give interviews to top-tier media. But what I love the most is when they drive positive change too! Thank you, and huge bravo to the remarkable Celine Ventalon from Emer, a purpose driven entrepreneur and women health advocate, the superb Emmanuelle Mace-Driskill, and PRCA APAC for our collaboration to host a roundtable discussion, “Is Menstruation Still a Taboo at Work?”. 🎀 🩸 In a two-hour session, we deep-dived into women’s health, focusing particularly on menstrual health for working women in #Singapore. We discussed the role workplaces can play in dispelling taboos and fears about menstruation at work and explored ways to empower women through sustainable menstrual health products and solutions. 🌱 Women face many health challenges globally, and Southeast Asia is no exception. Despite many Asian countries like Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Taiwan being trailblazers in providing menstrual leave (Japan as early as in 1947!), menstruation is still a taboo in the workplace. According to a YouGov research, 75% of women who experience pain during their period do not discuss it with their employer—they either lie and take medical leave for other reasons or take a day off. As a user put it on Reddit Singapore: "I do not fear of being judged, I know I am being judged." Beyond the lively discussions with participants, there was also a live demonstration by the Emer team on their innovative menstrual lingerie made with OEKO-TEX certified materials. This eco-friendly alternative to traditional products aims to ensure women can feel comfortable anywhere, anytime during their periods. 👙 My heartfelt appreciation goes to the wonderful ladies from various companies and media who actively participated in such an important discussion and contributed to the session's soaring success— thank you Stephanie Yeo The Straits Times, Tatler Asia Rachel Duffell, Market for Good Tali Goldman, Anita Kapoor Edit Kerekes and more, your support means the world to us!🙏🏼 We hope these crucial conversations continue in Singapore and around the world, despite the controversies and cultural taboos associated with them. It has been a productive week ! So proud💕 to have participated to the press event organized by Rothman & Roman about the topic of " Period at work " and what are the alternative solutions to pads and tampons presenting Emer with Celine Ventalon, founder of Emer, line of menstrual underwear lingerie. We talked about the role of culture as this topic is still considered very private or even taboo in Asia. We had a very dynamic discussion among all the participants on what is going right now in Singapore. I shared that this was something that we did not talk in my generation 🤐 but I see that this is changing for younger generations and I believe , time, education and market evolution are the ultimate essence for changes. Emer 👙 is a project very closed to my heart as this is not only to develop a brand ,as an advisor, but first to grow " the product awareness" as a lot of women do not know what are menstrual underwear in SEA. a special thanks to Zsofia BALATONI and Rothman& Roman team ( Tashan Kassey Kalleichelven) and Celine Ventalon for her unstoppable commitment to talk about this so important topic and promoting healthier and more sustainable solutions for period products ( not forgetting helping women to save money 💲 💲 )

I’m thrilled to lead an exciting discussion about women health and especially menstrual health of working women in Singapore and introduce Celine Ventalon, the founder of Emer a sustainable menstrual underwear company. (Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate more guests as we have full house.) I remember back in the day, when I was a young employee in an office for the first time, managing my menstruation so publicly was a real challenge. I remembered the whispered conversations among women co-workers, the awkward phone calls every once in a while by ladies not being able to come in to the office and the struggles to explain to male bosses something that nobody talks about. Thankfully those days are over. We can work from home whenever we need, no need for awkward calls to the office anymore, some companies even offer menstrual leave and innovative new products, such as Émer’s sustainable menstruation underwear solves many of these issues. But are we just there yet? What exactly can an employer do to fully support women’s health at the workplace? This is exactly what we are going to explore! Thank you PRCA APAC Tara M. for your kind support! -------------------------------- Press 🔔 to get notified of my posts.
