Our BC Squash Section had the incredible privilege to meet, train and play against the legendary squash duo, Paul Coll and Nele Gilis! Paul became the first New Zealander to achieve the World No. 2 Men's Squash and is a two-time British Open champion. Nele, equally accomplished, represents Belgium as a professional squash player and reached a career-high World No. 4 ranking in November 2023. Together, his husband-and-wife duo embodies excellence and dedication in the sport. A huge thank you to both for visiting the Club and sharing invaluable squash insights during the coaching clinic. The session left our squash section inspired and equipped with game-changing tips to improve their skills court. Thank you Brighton College (Singapore), for setting the perfect festive tone at our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony with beautiful Christmas carols by their student choir! We are pleased to announce that Scores Sports Bar & Restaurant and the Sports Changing Rooms will be undergoing a significant renovation from Monday, 16 December, with aim to reopen in early March 2025. We were honoured to host our partner, Brighton College Singapore, alongside Perry McCarthy, The Original Stig from Top Gear, for an evening at the Elizabeth Suite ahead of the Singapore GP. Perry gave us exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the world of Formula 1, sharing stories of the challenges he faced during his time as a racer.
