  • YTL Data Centers’ CEO, Wai Mun Heng, was invited as a CentreStage panel speaker at the recent W.Media - Global Malaysia Cloud & Datacenter Convention - Global Convention 2024 (CDC), to share on the topic of "Balancing DC Growth with Environmental Sustainability". Speaking to senior-level attendees at the Hilton, Kuala Lumpur, Wai Mun highlighted how environmental sustainability is a crucial aspect of development as Malaysia is projected to become one of the largest data center markets in Asia. He emphasised the YTL Data Center’s commitment as a leader in this space with its the first Green Data Center in the region, and the mission to continuously expand our solar farm to meet the growing green energy needs.     I am delighted to have participated in the IEM Convention as a panelist speaker, where I had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new acquaintances at KLCC.
