Hotel has no lift and you need to book dinner in advance if needed. Otherwise, you need to drive out for searching place for dinner. Breakfast is so so. It is not value for money.

Dinner buffet aims to be full, so don’t have high expectations. The location is not good, so you can travel by car. There are no shops nearby, and it’s hard to find the way in heavy snow. The worst thing is that the network is very poor, 4G is only 1 bar, and it is difficult to access the Internet. The WIFI is also very weak and often disconnected. You can feel the natural air wholeheartedly. The hot springs are very hygienic and the bath products used are also very good. There is a ski equipment store next to it. If you don't have any equipment, you can rent it. There is a ski resort next to it, which is also very convenient.

We stayed on the Friday before the long weekend. When we arrived, the building felt a little old. Foreign staff welcomed us. There were many foreign guests. The rooms were renovated and very clean. Dinner was a half buffet in a detached building that used to be a gymnasium. It was early summer, but it was very cool and comfortable at night without turning on the air conditioner. The open-air bath was a satisfying one, as you could see Lake Nojiri from the men's bath. The indoor bath was a typical old hot spring bath. Breakfast was at the restaurant in the facility, but the half buffet left us full again. The buffet had pho, banh mi, sea bream chazuke, and other dishes, which was an interesting idea. We had delicious pho for breakfast. The price was not too high, so it was a good value hotel.

This is a resort hotel next to Ikenotaira Onsen Alpen Bricks Ski Resort. However, it doesn't feel like a resort, so you can relax. There was a small changing room. However, the 100m climb to the lift station is tough, so it would be nice if there was a snow escalator or T-bar lift in the kids' garden. Although they don't have high-end ingredients, the food was delicious. For dinner, we travel by bus, but it was different and interesting. For breakfast, they offer "Tai Chazuke", "Mugi Toro Gohan" and "Curry Rice". I especially recommend the Tai Chazuke.

I found a discount coupon in Myoko City, so I booked a stay there. At check-in, another person received a coupon worth 2000 yen. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't use it inside the hotel. The hotel staff told me which stores I could use, and I went shopping. Since it was probably after the autumn leaves and before the ski season, I think the coupons were available. However, although there was sleet when we arrived, it started to snow heavily in the evening. Well, I left the hotel room up to me this time, but it was a spacious Japanese-Western style room that had been beautifully renovated. The sofa in the room was also big. The wash area and toilet are unit baths. There is no safe. I started by taking a bath in the indoor bath on the first floor. The water was quite hot (probably around 42 degrees), but it was pleasantly hot. It is a free and transparent hot spring. The washroom area is stocked with toiletries and other toiletries. Maybe it was because the water was hot, but after a bath I had apple cheeks for the first time in a while. The next morning, I went to the open-air bath on the third floor. There are two washing areas, but the open-air bath is large. The open-air bath is a semi-open-air bath with the entire surface open. In the morning, there was a blanket of snow. Dinner was at a separate beer garden. It's only a few minutes by shuttle bus. Breakfast was a buffet at the hotel restaurant. The content of Viking is normal. There were no local products like this. Maybe it's because some of the staff are Vietnamese (?), but we also had Vietnamese pho and banh mi. For rice, there was tororo and barley rice, as well as sea bream rice with chazuke. The snowy scenery from the restaurant and the sea of clouds were very beautiful. It was a reasonable hotel, and I was able to experience a beer garden buffet dinner, and it was a great experience with the scenery for the first time this winter, a nice hot spring, and a clean, spacious room.

This hotel is located at the Ikenotaira ski resort. The hotel itself is old and does not have an elevator. The ceiling is low, so there is a sense of oppression, but there are many comic books and a craft beer restaurant, so you can enjoy it. Ikenotaira no Onsen was unexpectedly wonderful.

I was reluctant to go because there were a lot of negative reviews, but my family insisted, so I went with them. The facilities are old and there is a very old unit bath in the room, but the tatami mats have been refurbished. By the way, it seems that the faucet has been removed so that hot water cannot be stored in the room bath due to aging. It's interesting because the open-air and indoor baths are completely different. The spring quality is good. But it's old everywhere... Dinner was at the restaurant on the 3rd floor of the hotel, not at another venue that I was looking forward to. What impressed me was the sight of people in their 60s, who seemed to be long-time repeaters, relaxing and enjoying the inn. It must be supported by these people. The response from the employees was good. This is the kind of inn that makes you feel grateful to have a warm room in such a harsh natural environment.
