4 Star Hotels in Pokolbin

The hotel is relatively close to the Hunter Valley Gardens. It is a group of villas built on a hillside. You can see a family of kangaroos in the bushes in the morning and on the golf course at dusk. It is so relaxing and leisurely. Several wineries are not far away by car. The hotel room is clean and tidy, the bed is large and comfortable, the room and balcony are relatively spacious, the breakfast buffet is rich, the Hunter Valley is huge, and the hotel is very quiet at night.

I had the pleasure of staying at this resort for one night and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was charming and serene, setting the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of my stay was the wine tasting session, which was expertly curated with a delightful selection of wines that catered to both novices and connoisseurs. The staff's knowledge and passion for wines were evident, making the tasting even more enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a good night's rest. While my stay was short, it left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning to this resort for a longer stay in the future.

The entrance to the room is in the wild. When it is 2 pm, the kangaroo sleeps under the shade of the trees. Then there is a seating area outside the room, which is very comfortable. Children can run in the grass and play with the branches, so happy. In the afternoon, I went to the nearby supermarket to buy some burdock food. The two families made their own dinner, which was very casual and very holiday. The day of the stay is a sunny day. In the evening, you can create a photo. Under the setting sun, the tree shadow is beautiful. If you are lucky enough to catch the kangaroo, the picture is very interesting. In the evening, when you leave the room, you can see the stars in the sky. The Milky Way is clearly visible. The mobile phone broadcasts a quiet little music. It is a step with the loved ones. Stay for a while, don't be too romantic.

When I checked in, it actually showed that the order was cancelled. The front desk staff were very nice and handled it in a timely manner, allowing me to check in smoothly. The hotel restaurant is good, the location is good, and the sanitary configuration of the room is the standard of a motel.

It’s really inconvenient to start booking another hotel, so I decided to give up~ This is great, but there are a lot of people on the weekend, the hotel is not good, the price is high! Open the ”balcony door”, if you look outside, look at the photo~

This hotel was really lovely with the most wonderful views looking down over their property. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with our teenage daughters for my husband's 50th birthday. I loved a lot about the hotel but they could improve in some areas to make it more special. Loved the view, the fireplace and that both bedrooms had King beds. Each bedroom had 4 pillows provided, however strangely they only provided pillowcases for 2 pillows in 1 room and only 1 in the other room - so not even enough for 1 per person. They were only Kmart pillows with not that much filling, so I wanted 2 to sleep with as I don't like my head too flat. Had to call housekeeping to have the other 5 pillowcases brought to our room (so that we could all use 2 pillows each). They did this, but seem confused that we would want another 5 pillowcases...I mean why would you provide 5 pillows but not the pillowcases to go with them? The bathroom was huge, but only had a shower, toilet and sink - with that size bathroom, it would be so nice to be able to relax in a nice, deep bath on a winter's night. The lounges felt very small and were not comfortable. One of the lounges was a fold up/click futon style which did not have armrests. They just felt really cheap and was a shame all 4 of us we couldn't really relax in them in front of the cozy fire.

The hotel's service is very good. The front desk is very warm and friendly. The room is quite big. The bed is very comfortable. There is a balcony door to go straight. The swimming pool is very wide. There are often kangaroos playing freely on the nearby lawn. The front door is an endless vineyard. I am at the door. On the road, I photographed a kangaroo mother who was preparing to cross the road. There was also a kangaroo in the arms. The locals were very friendly to the kangaroos. They would drive the guests slow, especially when they encountered kangaroos. Slow down and confirm that they would not hurt them.

Absolute gem of the Hunter Valley. One of the best places I have ever stayed not only because of its stunning scenic location, but the professional team and exceptionally kept facilities. Would highly recommend.

From the friendly advice given via emails before our stay until our checkout, we had nothing but positive experiences with our stay here. Our unit was extremely spacious with our deck overlooking the pool. The skylight in the bathroom was great for light in the whole unit. The decor and furnishings were very comfortable, must admit the couch (actually a sofa bed) was fantastic place to relax on after a busy day of wine, chocolate, cheese and olive tasting. The village was also so convenient, everything from ice from the bottle shop to repeat visits to Fawks. Purchases were also made from the General Store, Smelly Cheese Shop and the Chocolate shop 😊 Other attractions were literally within easy walking distance, adding to Pokolbin Village being the perfect base for your Hunter Valley holiday.

The villas are nestled into a vineyard, the view is lovely and the serenity is divine. The villas themselves are spotlessly clean, and newly renovated and very well equipped. The bed is comfortable, the linen crisp and the pillows are good too. We rented four villas and everyone was impressed. The time spent outside away from the traffic and hustle and bustle, just peace and quiet, a gorgeous view and good friends with which to share a nice bottle of wine. At the bottom of the road there is a winery, Parched Crow...so don't forget to drop in there and have a tasting and purchase a few bottles of good Hunter wine.
