Hangzhou Museum is located south of West Lake, next to Qinghefang Street. The museum is built on a hill and has four floors. There are not many cultural relics on display, but you can learn a lot about the history of Hangzhou through digital exhibitions. When going up and down the floors, you can read many interesting stories about the history of Hangzhou. 📍Address: No. 18 Liangdaoshan, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou 🚒Transportation: Take Metro Line 7 to Exit D or Line 1 to Exit C, then walk to the museum. 🍎North Pavilion: [1st Floor: Natural Treasures] Fixed cultural relics unearthed in Hangzhou, which are witnesses to the city's long history. [2nd Floor: Ingenious Design and Calligraphy and Painting] Movable cultural relics. There are not many on display, but they cover ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, rare books, bronze, jade, and other cultural relics unique to Hangzhou. [3rd Floor: Between the Square Inches and Cultural and Creative Cabinets] Between the Square Inches is a stamp exhibition. Visitors can use digital exhibitions to enlarge the stamps for viewing. 🍎South Pavilion: Displays the history and culture of Hangzhou, recreating the city's history through simulated scenes. 💰Ticket information: Free admission. Free guided tours are available at scheduled times on holidays. Guided tours cost CNY 20 each at other times. ⏱Opening hours: 9:00–16:30 daily, except Tuesdays. 📌Other tips: The museum has several floors, and the elevators are often out of service. The escalators are narrow and only go up, not down. Visiting the museum can be tiring, so wear comfortable shoes.
