Dreamtel Kota Kinabalu - Great Value for Money

We stayed at Dreamtel Kota Kinabalu during our trip to Kota Kinabalu. I was very satisfied with this hotel, it was great value for money. 👍 My friend and I booked a twin room for 3 nights with breakfast for CNY 777. It was CNY 129.5 per person per night. 🕖 Check-in time: We arrived at 7 am and asked what time we could check in. We were told we could check in at 11 am. So we went out for a walk and went to the supermarket. We came back at 11 am. 📍 Location: The location was good. It was a 3-minute walk to Gaya Street Night Market. We could walk to the durian market under the bridge. It was only a few minutes' drive to Jesselton Point. 🧹 Cleanliness: The room was clean. Housekeeping came every day to clean the room and replenish supplies. 🍽️ Breakfast: Breakfast was served from 6:30 am to 10 am. I didn't have high expectations for breakfast at a hotel that cost CNY 129 per person, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was a wide variety of food, including fried noodles, fried rice, roti canai, bread, cake, chicken curry, vegetable salad, fruit, drinks, cereal, coffee, milk, and ham. The pineapple and papaya were very sweet! 🍍🍈 🛁️ Amenities: The room had a fridge and a hairdryer. There was an iron in the corridor. Disposable slippers, toothbrushes, shower caps, and cotton swabs were provided. There was no comb. 💰 Deposit: We paid a deposit of MYR 50 at check-in, which was refunded at check-out.
