Why Kyoto is a must-visit for first-time travelers to Japan!

Because it is so Japanese and so charming! All my curiosity and expectations for this country were satisfied on the day I arrived in Kyoto. Temples, shrines, castles, gardens, and machiya (traditional wooden townhouses) can be seen everywhere. The charm of this ancient capital is truly captivating, and every day in Kyoto feels like being in Japanese literature! Although it's fun to wander around, I still planned a classic itinerary for my first visit! There are many kimono rental shops at the entrance, costing around 3,000 yen (return by 18:00). 2️⃣ Kyoto Station 📸 "Detective Conan" fans can recreate the photo of Reiko and Ran. I wanted to have lunch inside after taking photos, but I couldn't stop shopping! Isetan, Porta shopping, food, and souvenirs kept me busy for a long time! 🍱 There's a tea rice shop inside ✨ that's really delicious! 3️⃣ Kiyomizu-dera Temple 🎫 Admission is 400 yen, cash only 🙏🏻 You can get omamori (amulets) for health, longevity, luck, and love. The meanings are mostly understandable in Japanese, see the picture. "Detective Conan" fans can visit another location! Shinichi and Ran's famous scene was filmed on the Kiyomizu Stage! 4️⃣ Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka 🚶 Very close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, just a few minutes' walk 🗾 A unique Kyoto-style street where you can buy many exquisite and cute souvenirs! Some fridge magnets are made in China, so choose carefully if you mind.
