Slovenia Strengthens Its Presence at Tourism Workshops in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland 🟢The Slovenian Tourist Board, in collaboration with 30 Slovenian tourism businesses, successfully hosted two tourism workshops in recent days—one in Prague (November 27) and another in Bratislava (November 28). 🟢On the Czech market, where Slovenia is already a well-established tourist destination, interest in our country continues to grow. In the first ten months of this year, Slovenia recorded a moderate increase in tourist arrivals (+2%) and overnight stays (+4%) compared to the same period last year. Czech tourists currently rank 5th among international visitors to Slovenia in arrivals and 4th in overnight stays. Over 70 Czech travel agents and tour operators attended the event in Prague, exploring Slovenia's diverse tourism offerings. 🟢For the first time, Slovakia hosted such a workshop in Bratislava, marking a significant step towards increasing Slovenia's visibility in this market. Slovakia has recorded a 10% growth in both arrivals and overnight stays, with Slovak tourists increasingly recognizing Slovenia as an attractive destination for active holidays, especially in winter. Skiing remains a popular choice, inspired by the achievements of Slovak champion Petra Vlhová, a regular winner at the Golden Fox competition. 🟢Additionally, two workshops were held in Poland this week—one in Krakow (November 25) and another in Katowice (November 26). Represented by 15 Slovenian tourism businesses, the events attracted over 50 Polish travel agents and tour operators.
