Have you ever wanted to view DNA without a microscope? Are you interested in joining a hands-on lab with fellow science lovers? If so, you might be interested in joining this strawberry DNA extraction experiment! We’ll explain the basics of DNA and its importance, and then we will do a fun, easy lab to extract DNA from strawberries. Finally, we’ll discuss the results and explain why we could see strawberry DNA without a microscope, a seemingly puzzling mystery.

Appropriate for ages 8-12.
