Volunteer With the Adult Literacy and ESL Program. You'll be amazed at what you learn!

We invite you to join one of our upcoming Adult Literacy & ESL Volunteer Orientations. Orientations will be held via Zoom.

Register for one of the following sessions:

1. Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 10am to 11am on Zoom

2. Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 7pm to 8pm on Zoom

At orientation, you'll learn more about SJPL's Adult Literacy and ESL Program, and the impact our tutors have on the lives of adult learners. We'll also provide an overview of the program and guide you through the next steps to join our team of dedicated volunteer tutors.

Our next round of Tutor Trainings will be held in person at King Library on Saturday, January 18, 2025:

• Adult Basic Education (ABE)
  Time: 12pm - 4pm
  Location: Room 255
  
  
• English as a Second Language (ESL)
  Time: 1pm - 4pm
  Location: Room 225

Please note: Attendance at an orientation and completion of a volunteer on Better Impact is required before attending the tutor training.
