Podpora nadaných studentů a studentek V pondělí 18. listopadu jsme slavnostně přivítali 32 nových studentů a studentek ve věku 15–23 let do Programu podpory nadaných studentů. Pochází z Brna, ale také z Kyjova, Šlapanic, Boskovic, Mikulova, Tišnova a Blanska. V prostorách zastupitelského sálu krajského úřadu převzali symbolická osvědčení a dárky z rukou předsedy výboru pro výchovu, vzdělávání a zaměstnanost JMK Petra Novotného a ředitele JCMM Miloše Šifaldy. Zvláštní ocenění obdrželo 14 studentů za mimořádné úspěchy na mezinárodních soutěžích v matematice, informatice, chemii, soutěžích navazujících na SOČ či za vědecké publikace. ✅ VUT zaznamenalo významný úspěch v prestižním mezinárodním žebříčku Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, známém také jako Šanghajský žebříček. Jedná se o jeden z nejvýznamnějších mezinárodních žebříčků vysokých škol. V hodnocení za rok 2024 se univerzita umístila hned v sedmi inženýrských oborech, což je nejvíce ze všech českých vysokých škol v rámci samostatné kategorie inženýrství. Na nejlepší umístění v letošním žebříčku dosáhlo VUT v oborech Nanoscience & Nanotechnology a Telecommunication Engineering, kde se v obou případech zařadilo mezi světové univerzity na 201.-300. místě. Na pozvání Katalánského Ministerstva školství jsme v rámci výročního zasedání Evropské asociace celoživotního vzdělávání EARLALL - European Association of Regional & Local Authorities for Lifelong Learning prezentovali aktivity, které v oblasti podpory nadání a rozvíjení lidského potenciálu nabízí JCMM. Jihomoravský kraj a BRNO Magistrát města Brna jsme představili jako inovativní region s mnoha příležitostmi. Těšíme se na připravované evropské projekty a další spolupráci. 🙌
