Last week, five entrepreneurs and recent OCIF Senegal alumni showcased their projects to a diverse panel of investors and attendees through a startup village and a round of three-minute pitches at INCO’s Investment Pitch Night. 🌟 Sikoti Mbaitjongueé (SOKOLATA, Exquisite Afromantic Basics) 🌟 cherif Diallo (pointelrh) 🌟 Mouhamadou Mor Beye (MULTISERVICES AGRICOLES / FAYEL) 🌟 Hamet SOW, PhD (Intersip Intl.) 🌟 Maela Cherif Ndiaye (Complexe Uzuri) Throughout the night, investors used fake OCIF-themed bills to “invest” in startups, awarding the startup with the most “investments” at the end of the event. 🤝 We’re thrilled that these entrepreneurs were able to build valuable connections during the pitch night, and we’re grateful to our audience for their engagement and support. Thank you to Rogier Hekking, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Senegal for attending and encouraging these entrepreneurs, and thank you to all of our investors for your presence, participation, and contribution to these entrepreneurs! A special acknowledgement for our partners at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Senegal: Rachel van der Pol, Kars Gerrits, Elise Antoine, and Benthe Beijens. During the event, INCO also announced the OCIF Award, a brand-new and one-time initiative recognizing the dedication and commitment of two OCIF alumni from the first two cohorts: AMADOU DIENG (Buur Logistics) and Mariam ALHAMDOU (Vet Info Group)! Thank you to Orange Corners, Orange Corners Senegal, the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Senegal, and Netherlands Enterprise Agency for supporting the organization of the pitch night!
