Honestly such a beautiful game... From the MS paint type pixel artstyle to the soundtrack, everything fits together perfectly to make this game have it's own special unrepeatable identity! (and I love it to death~) Though I haven't yet played the previous two games yet I can tell Takayakata has made their own special handcrafted "world" and has significantly been expanding upon it. It has so much love and personal drive put into you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not playing it!

From the first "fall" you follow the adventures of Toaka as she goes on to save the world! The combat system overall is quite simple but very fluid and enjoyable. All the characters you will go on to meet have been some of the most realistic characters I've seen so far! Not all of them get much time it's very easy to connect with them...
(Also just because I haven't seen anyone talk about it the outer art phase transition animations are the coolest thing ever...)

The story starts out very simple but changes tone relatively quickly. Maybe I'm not great at connecting dots but it took me two playthroughs to really connect the dots on everything and I still have some side questions about the endings XD. Regardless the story flows very well and gets quite heart wrenching at certain points. All in all taking your time you'll get about 5 to 7 hours of gameplay if you do aim to complete all the content. Though I personally wish it was a little longer it's perfectly paced. (That's just me being selfish and wanting to see more of the characters and the world X3)

As someone who has done two full playthroughs already and am probably planning on a third one it goes down in my list of all time favorite games! It's one of those games that I really hope gets popular enough to join the niche game classics! It has been a pleasure to support this creator and hope to see more creations in the future!

(I recommend playing this game on Hard as only one or two fights are quite challenging, unless your just not experienced with gaming at all. Also as mentioned in the updates to play with a controller simply plug it in after you boot up the game as it will close if you have a controller plugged in during launch.)
