Why is this called "Season One"? Is it not a finished story yet?

Ghostpia is a surreal visual novel that is densely packed with meaning. It's themes are clear, but how each scene ties into those themes sometimes isn't. On my first experience, Episode 4's plot felt a bit dramatic, and I was confused as to why so much of Episode 5 centred around AI. i really like this game don't get me wrong but that's the one thing that's always stuck out to me as really out of left field and unneeded. i understand WHAT they're trying to illustrate with it - the power imbalance between those two characters / the manipulative nature of that character and demonstrate they're evil (presumably - that's just what i was gathering from it) but like???? it's not like this game is incredibly wholesome the whole way through or anything, but it all feels generally quite lighthe...

Wanted to buy this game to someone but I wanted to make sure that it didn't have any trigger warnings like sexual content since I read up that it had violent scenes. I searched in the internet to find out but so far I didn't find anyone mentioning anything like it. Though I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask in the forums. And to clarify I don't just mean it occurring in the game, I meant more like if it's talked about...
