One gamer's bundle leftovers are another's wishlist games

On 29 Jan 2024, Spec Ops: The Line has been delisted. As it is the case with most of these games, its value is likely to rise considerably in the next few weeks, as there is no other way to get a game copy aside from key activations.

This caused an influx of trade offers for it, which come mostly from users eager to hoard as many copies as possible, with the intention of retrading / reselling them for profit in the future, when the demand will grow as keys from official stores deplete.

We are strongly advising you to check grey market pricing before accepting such offers. Even though the game has been given away, its current value on the grey markets starts around 16€ / $17.50 and will only go only up from now on. Please don't get tricked into accepting low value games for it or believe statements such as "it cannot be bought any more, thus it's useless" or "it was given away for free, so it's not valuable". Please be aware that these malicious users might also want to contact you directly on Steam to try to strike a deal with you (most likely unfair for you) outside Barter.

In an attempt to protect users from such unfair trades, moderators are actively declining offers requesting Spec Ops: The Line while offering considerably less value. If you still want to do the trade regardless of that, feel free to send the offer back to the sender - it will not be declined.
