Change Advanced settings in the Apple TV app on Mac
In the Apple TV app on your Mac, use Advanced settings to reset several options.
To change these settings, choose TV > Settings, then click Advanced.
Option | Description | ||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Forget All Remotes | Disconnect all devices from a media library. This option is only available when you used the iTunes Remote app to pair an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with a specific media library. | ||||||||||
Reset all dialogue warnings | Allow dialogue warnings to appear. This option restores dialogue warnings if you previously selected “Do not show this message again” in a dialogue in the Apple TV app. | ||||||||||
Reset TV Store cache | Reset the Store cache (the temporary location where your computer saves Store pages that you visit). If the content on a page seems outdated, you can reset the cache to retrieve the latest version. If you think a page isn’t opening properly, resetting the cache may help. | ||||||||||
Clear what you’ve watched from your devices | Remove information about what you’ve watched (information that’s synced with the Apple TV app on other devices). This also removes TV shows and movies from your Watchlist and Continue Watching rows. | ||||||||||
Keep video playback on top of all other windows | Keep the video playback window always in the foreground. |
