Identify a song using Shazam on HomePod or HomePod mini
You can ask Siri to identify a song that’s playing on HomePod and HomePod mini or a song that’s playing on a nearby device.
Do one of the following:
Identify a song playing on HomePod or HomePod mini: Ask Siri something like, “What’s playing?” or “What song is this?”
Identify a song playing on a nearby device: Say “Hey Siri, Shazam this song,” or touch and hold the top of HomePod, then say “Shazam this song.”
Note: Songs identified using Siri on HomePod or HomePod mini are not saved to the Shazam app.
