Translate text in a conversation in Messages on Mac
With macOS 12 or later, you can instantly translate messages you receive in a different language.
Note: Translation may not be available in all languages or in all countries or regions.
In the Messages app
on your Mac, select a conversation.Select the text you want to translate, Control-click the text, then choose Translate.
From the language pop-up menus, choose the language of the text you’re translating (if necessary) and the language you want to translate it to.
