It's Principle Wednesday! Today, we celebrate the 7th principle of our movement: UNIVERSALITY The Movement, in which all National Societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other, is worldwide. The universality of suffering requires a universal response: National Societies exist in almost every country in the world, and they have a collective responsibility to assist one another in responding to crises and to support each other's development in a spirit of solidarity and mutual respect. #knowredcross #Universal #SavingLivesChangingMinds #KeepingHumanityAlive

It's Principle Wednesday! Today, we celebrate the 6th principle of our movement: UNITY There can be only one Red Cross or Red Crescent Society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory. This principle enables Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society to serve as a unifying force in the country and communities, and to promote understanding and peace. #KnowRedCross #FundamentalPrinciples #unityprinciple #wearebaphalali #KeepingHumanityAlive

Blood is the most precious gift; be a Hero, donate blood and save lives! By donating blood, it could save a loved one and it could save your life as well. Eswatini National Blood Transfusion Service (ENBTS) in partnership with Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society launched a blood donation awareness campaign in order to sensitize the nation about the importance of blood donation. This partnership aims to enhance blood donation efforts, increase community awareness, and improve the efficiency of blood collection and distribution. Baphalali will be supporting ENBTS in recruiting blood donors in the country. During the launch, the team discussed blood donation initiatives, and strategies to maximize the impact of our collaboration, ultimately saving lives and promoting public health.
