As educators, we want our students to be high flyers ✈️, and we also want to be high flyers ourselves. But what does being a 'high flyer' actually mean? In the complex world of practical pedagogy this can be quite hard to define. But, I think I've nailed it! Being a high flyer means you achieve good attainment, you show good progress and you consistently demonstrate good holistics: such as being a team player, having leadership skills, being a good public speaker, being caring, and so on. I had an incredible time delivering my one-day workshop on Agile Project Management to the amazing team at BDO in Thailand today. The energy in the room was electric ⚡, and it’s always a pleasure to work with such enthusiastic and engaged professionals.
